30 QUESTIONS

1) Are you named after anyone? Yes, my mum named me after her friend in Yemen.

2) When was the last time you cried? I cried for no reason sometime in December 2016. I also cried last winter too. I don't know why but the winter season makes me miserable.

3) Do you have kids? No. I am my own kid. I've got my own responsibilities.

4) If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? Yes, I am that low maintenance friend who has a great sense of humour.

5) Do you use sarcasm a lot? I try but I want to master sarcasm that is so subtle, it doesn't even sound sarcastic.

6) What’s the first thing you notice about people? I mostly check their body language and decide if it's worth starting a conversation.

7) Favourite TV shows? Friends, Law & Order SVU and Impractical Jokers. Drag me.

8) Scary movie or happy endings? Both are wack. Give me some comedy/action.

9) Favourite smells? Petrol, Nail Polish Remover, Basil, Fresh Bread

10) What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? Canada 2015-2017

11) Do you have any special talents? Uhh, I can do the squiggly shape with my tongue? Also when I was younger, I used to be able to walk with my hands (handstand). Does that count?

12) Where were you born? Manchester - but London raised me.

13) What are your hobbies? Drawing & Netflix. My life is so interesting.

14) Do you have any pets? I have a pet who's been missing since 2013.

15) Do you have any nicknames? Sawa & Sawi are the popular ones.

16) Favourite movies? It can go from a serious movie like "Crash" to something horribly stupid and funny like "Napoleon Dynamite". There's no in-between. Loads to choose from.

17) Have you ever won something? The first time I ever won something was at the end of the school term. It was a laptop. I didn't get it because I wasn't in school that day. It still hurts.

18) How tall are you? I don't actually know. I'm guessing either 5'4 or 5'5.

19) Funniest moment in school? When my Art teacher pronounced my name as "Swahili". Literally.

20) How many countries have you visited? 10.

21) What was your favourite/worst subject in school? Favourites were English and P.E. Worst subjects were Science, History and Geography.

22) What is your favourite drink? Tea and Lemonade. Sometimes both - an iced tea lemonade.

23) What would you name your children? I can be quite indecisive. How the hell can you give someone a name and then stick with it? What if you think of a better name when they turn 3? May God make it easy for me.

24) What sports do you play/have you played? I used to enjoy playing Badminton. But if we're talking about my situation now, is job-hunting considered a sport?

26) Favourite memory from childhood? My first holiday in Holland at the age of 10. It was an awesome vacation filled with waterparks and bike-riding.

27) How would you describe your fashion sense? Casual and comfortable.

28) What phone do you have? An iPhone 6S with a broken screen. The S stands for Sabr (patience)

29) Tell us one of your bad habits - I'm constantly clicking my knuckles, fingers, toes or both knees. Many people hate it.

30) Biggest pet peeves? Loud eaters, slow drivers, people who walk slow or suddenly stop in the middle of the pavement, people who interrupt and talk over you while you are speaking to them, people who repeatedly tap me when they want my attention (I can hear you, no need to tap me) and people who put an empty milk carton back in the fridge or leave a tiny bit of milk that would be totally useless for the next person.
