The CN Tower is Toronto's most defining landmark and it has become a major tourist destination. With a chance to see the breathtaking view of downtown Toronto, it attracts approximately 2 million visitors each year. Are you scared of heights? No? Good, keep reading.

Here's what you can get up to inside Toronto's popular landmark: The Glass Floor Experience: At 1,122 ft high, the glass floor was a highlight and my favorite part of the experience. You can stand, lie down, sit and jump on the glass floor as much as you like and it won't break. Fun Facts:

  • The glass can withstand the weight of 33 moose

  • It was the world's first when it opened in 1994

Carry on walking and you can step outside for some fresh air ... and trust me, it gets windy.

The 360 Restaurant

What do you get when you combine height + food + rotation? The 360 Restaurant. Weird combination but it's an awesome experience if you're willing to pay a lot of money on over-the-top-fancy-but-not-that-great food. However, in order to get the full experience of the restaurant rotating as you eat, you'd better grab a seat and find something you like on the menu.

If you feel nauseous just reading this, don't worry - you don't really feel the restaurant rotating unless you stare at the ground for a few minutes. Tip:

  • The food is quite expensive (over $50 per person, and that's just the main course). Before you go, check for group packages/deals online.

  • Get there in the evening so you can watch the sun set over the city.

My favorite part about the restaurant? Walking to the restroom as it's moving away from you and then coming out and realizing your table has also moved. Don't ask why that's so amusing to me.

#VIEWS from inside the restaurant:

For all the thrill-seekers out there, finish it off by doing the epic Edge Walk. Unfortunately, I didn't get to do it even though it was on my bucket list. Maybe next time, eh? If you've never been inside the CN Tower, it's worth a visit. It's not a place you go to all the time though. Get the experience once and you're good to go!
